Big Steve's Paintings

This page is dedicated to my mate Steve. It shows some of his art work, which I will add to as and when. He started off as a caricaturists and spent some time doing covers and cartoons of the famous in the 70's for The TV Times. After a walk in the wilderness he found new strength in his faith which inspired him till his death in 2005. I truely loved him...and still do...Big up Steve!

To celebrate St Nicholas Day and for all my Polish friends on 6th December, this is Steves painting which was used as a christmas card by The St Nicholas Centre world wide. Enjoy!

For Those Far Away

How often, Lord, would I wish
to stretch across the miles
and touch loved ones far away,
or be whisked on angels' wings
to their very side.

Lord, be with them in all they do,
and when their hearts
grow lonely and homesick,
when they long
to see and hold their loved ones,
touch them, lord,
with the touch of your presence.

Hold them in your embrace,
help them feel better,
knowing that in your love
we are all close together. Amen.
